Why birth photography? Birth story photography documents your journey becoming a mother. When words fail to express the joy and full range of emotions experienced during your birth experience, you will have these images freezing those moments in time, preserving them as heirlooms to treasure. Birth is a miraculous beginning, and every birth is sacred and beautiful. Capturing this monumental event in photography ensures that you will have beautiful photos to treasure, remember, and share with your child as they grow. Birth photography is my passion, it is a “calling” combining my love of photography with my love of all things Birth. When I gave birth to my own babes I felt like a total bad-ass, powerful, super-woman; and you likely will too! Capturing your expression as you hold your baby in your arms for the first time is priceless. This monumental moment in life is, thankfully, beginning to gain recognition and I am thrilled to be able to celebrate and promote the normalization of birth with photography. When you book with me, I am on call 24/7 starting at 38 weeks
. Your package includes coverage of active labor, birth, and about 2
  hours postpartum. Over 100 full res edited images in color and black and white in an 
online gallery for downloading and sharing. Also includes a complimentary highlight video
. Payment plan is available. I proudly serve families throughout the Tacoma-Seattle area, hospital, birth center or home birth. I stay in communication with you and your labor support team to help determine the best time for me to arrive, which is during active labor. Book as soon as you know you are wanting your birth story captured, I can only take a limited number of births per month due to being on-call. Ahead of time we discuss the type of images you are wanting, you get to decide if you want graphic images or not. Save 10% when combined with a maternity, newborn, or other portrait package. In case of an emergency that prohibits me from being present, I have qualified back-up photographers who will take my place. I will still edit the images for a cohesive look with my style.
