Thereās something truly special about photographing puppies ā especially when theyāre right at that fleeting stage where everything is new, curious, and impossibly sweet. This week in the studio, I had the absolute joy of photographing three Alusky puppies, each with their own personality, markings, and charm. Sessions like this are exactly why pet photography is such meaningful work.
Meet Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne, and Diana PrinceĀ ā three siblings born on October 18, 2025, and already stealing hearts.

š¶ Meet the Puppies
Clark KentĀ ā Instantly recognizable with one bright blue eye and one mossy gray eye, Clark has a calm, observant presence and a gentle curiosity.
Bruce WayneĀ ā The darkest of the trio, Bruce is quietly confident and grounded, with a peaceful demeanor that makes you want to curl up next to him.
Diana PrinceĀ ā Short-haired with striking bright blue eyes, Diana is expressive, alert, and full of personality while still loving her cozy nap time.
These Alusky puppies ā a mix of Alaskan Malamute (mom)Ā and AKC Husky (dad)Ā ā are currently being crate trained and potty trained, have had a vet check, first shots, and deworming, and are wonderful with kids, other dogs, and cats. They have easygoing temperaments and love their naps just as much as their playtime.
Now that they've had their portrait session they are ready for adoption for Christmas, making this season an especially meaningful time for three lucky families!

šø Why Puppy Photography Matters
Puppies grow fast ā reallyĀ fast. Professional pet portraits freeze this stage in time, preserving tiny details youāll never want to forget: soft fur, curious eyes, floppy ears, and those clumsy puppy poses that disappear all too soon.
Pet photography is meaningful for so many reasons:
Welcoming a new dog into the family
Creating art of your pet to display in your home
Honoring an elder or end-of-life pet
Celebrating a litter before adoption
Documenting a rescue or adoption story
Helping animal sheltersĀ increase visibility and successful adoptions
Whether your pet is three weeks old or fifteen years old, every stage deserves to be remembered.

š Expert Dog & Pet Photography in the Pacific Northwest
I specialize in professional dog and pet photographyĀ for clients across Tacoma, Seattle, Pierce County, Thurston County, King County, and the greater Pacific Northwest.
In 2025 alone, Iāve photographed over 50 dogs, each with different needs, energy levels, and personalities.
My studio sessions are designed to be:
Calm and safe for puppies and adult dogs
Flexible for nervous or shy pets
Clean, controlled, and comfortable
Focused on personality, connection, and expression
I work at the dogās pace ā whether that means play breaks, nap breaks, or lots of patience and reassurance.

š¤ Ethical & Respectful Approach
My role as a photographer is to document life, connection, and love, and to help families, rescues, and caretakers share accurate, honest visuals that support responsible placement, adoption, and care.
These sessions are also incredibly impactful for rescues and shelters, where professional photography has been shown to significantly increase adoption rates by helping animals stand out and connect emotionally with potential families.
