The air was filled with festive cheer as families gathered at the Downtown Bremerton Association 2023 Winterfest! The event was a magical celebration of the holiday season, bringing joy, laughter, and cherished memories to all who attended.
As the event unfolded, the spirit of Christmas came alive with music, dance, and the tree!
Later, children's eyes sparkled with excitement as they eagerly awaited their turn to meet Santa Claus. The DBA Winterfest event provided a unique opportunity for families to capture the enchantment of the holiday season with a cookie, hot cocoa, and portraits with Santa!
Santa Claus, adorned in his traditional red suit and twinkling with merriment, welcomed each child and gifted them a small candy cane. The interactions were filled with laughter, wishes, and the timeless tradition of sharing dreams with the jolly man from the North Pole. I was very happy to be there, as the event photographer, to capture these heartwarming moments, freezing in time the genuine joy and spirit of the season.
The event's organizers went above and beyond to create an elegant winter wonderland backdrop. the midnight velvet curtain, white trees with lights and gold lanterns all contributed to the festive ambiance. Families loved the opportunity to step into a storybook setting, creating a backdrop that perfectly complemented the holiday magic.
The event partnered with Sage + Soul Photography, who captured the essence of the festivities and family togetherness. Each portrait tells a unique story of the joy, love, and connection shared between families, and also the magic of Christmas!
We felt the community spirit. Families, friends, and neighbors came together to celebrate the season, creating a shared experience that will be fondly remembered for years to come. The event not only provided an opportunity for beautiful portraits but also served as a heartwarming reminder of the power of community and togetherness during the holidays.
A huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers and organizers who made the 2023 DBA Winterfest Event a resounding success and created a magical space where the community could come together and embrace the magic of Christmas. As we reflect on the joy shared and memories created, let's carry the spirit of togetherness and goodwill throughout the holiday season and in to the new year!
